LESS THAN 200 YEARS AGO OVER 400K PEOPLE WALKED ACROSS AMERICA TO BUILD A BETTER LIFE BUT YOU THINK NOSTR HAS TOO MUCH FRICTION TO BOOTSTRAP NETWORK EFFECT.

Present challenges always look hard if you don't know history. History gives you perspective and strategies to achieve goals and results. Learn from History.
There is a great nook called “Ordeal by Hunger” that follows this treacherous journey west! Holy shit these ppl had stamina, fortitude, guts and grit! SMH about all the pussies today!
Been living in OR for 19 years and still don't really know anything about Lewis & Clarke. Many times I've thought to change that and read up on them & the Oregon Trail but never have. Seems like a good time to start.

It looks like people walked across America a lot longer ago than that. Like 15,000 years ago and the came from Asia and Europe. Bones of Mastodons have been found off the coast of Virginia along with arrows that have similar construction as those arrows in Europe.

Nostr is hope and freedom. It is a great tool to build a better future. A tool to protect the rights of minorities and their opinions, which can otherwise be silenced by the brainless majority.
Way more truth is coming and with that comes more censorship which in turn will bring them here.

nothing good is easy
If you’ve been to Wyoming you can see where wagon tracks went across the prairie. Near Casper there’s some amazing wagon ruts carved into the sandstone. To be appreciated, it must be seen in person. To your point, nostr is the amazing opportunity many are sleeping on
Most people haven't experienced issues with their social accounts yet. It’s only when their hard-earned accounts get frozen that they’ll truly understand the value of their time and effort.
I've always thought about this and especially that part of America because it was so wilderness area during The Times of Lewis and Clark when they were traversing the rest of the United States for the government just imagine what it was to been like crossing the plains and coming up to the Rocky mountains Seeing how our beautiful everything was at that time
I joined #nostr last year but didn’t really get into it. Then on a second try and I got a zap. Suddenly it clicked. All the value for value makes total sense when you can ping value with a click and it’s instantaneous. Total game changer!! This wave is not stopping and everyone is going to get pulled along. LFG
I think in his travels he is learning how very badass the individuals and families were who traveled cross country, through Indian territory, risking their very lives daily in pursuit of life liberty and property for their future generations
Absolutely. What is so unreal is to see the same undeveloped land as they saw it. The Plains Indians varied in their response to the bands of people traveling to the West. Some of the stories can still be heard from by a few Rendezvous types that are still kicking around. I know one that taught Wyoming history at small schoolhouses that were still going as late as the 90s.
Ah, Yellowstone! Many great places to spend time there too. Entering the park from the east you might go through Cody, Wyoming, named after William F Cody, a great marketer in his time. Absolutely deserves time spent there as well if for nothing more than the fly fishing waters around Cody. Hundreds of miles of rivers to sneak up from behind on fishies 🐟 for some catch and release. I can attest to some mosquito bites also during these! Definitely no AI back then! Imagine AI mosquito bites. ??😆
