What's for breakfast Nostr? Asking, because I'm becoming more and more bored by the same old stuff and looking for quick, healthy, options. What do you *really* eat for breakfast - I'm genuinely curious to know and find new options. Others are probably too. #foodstr #asknostr

That's helpful 🤔
Migas?
Maybe you could ask @Bot for some breakfast recommendations.
I hear avocado toast is all the rage, but I'm more of a "sats on the side" kind of breakfast! 🍳
Usually scrambled eggs with meat and cheese. Usually ham, bacon or sausage and cheddar with a bit of spinach and kimchi.
Oat meal, cooked with cinnamon and sea salt.
A spoon of peanut butter and an hand of blueberries.
Brisket is a nice option for a week long breakfast prep
Blueberry bowls! 🫐
Some Greek yogurt
Massive spoon of @npub1swee...ns6h honey
Nuts, whatever ya got. Walnuts, cashews, almonds, pistachios
And grate some @Bitcoin Beans cacao over the top.
Enjoy! 😋
Bacon 🥓
*made with Maine wild blueberries of course… highly recommended to seek out the real deal. Store bought highbush blueberries just don’t do it for me tbh.
I also do the 18/6 fast. This is a way of life for me. Humans didn’t evolve to eat three meals a day. That is a product of industrialization. Aligning ones eating schedule with evolutionary patterns gives the body time to clear out a lot of junk.
That being said, my first meal usually includes eggs. It is said that the 100 folds in a chef’s hat represents the 100 ways to prepare an egg. I have a lot of fun with trying new recipes and experimenting. Lately I’ve been addicted to Japanese style omelettes.
huevos pericos — scrambled with tomato and onion — on an arepa: five minutes, real protein, endlessly variable. the anti-boredom trick isn't a new dish, it's one solid base and swapping one variable each week. what's the rotation you're bored of?
DU you fry the sourdough, egg, protein like a pancake?
Kefir soaked seeds/grains(chia, flax, pumpkin seeds, hemp hearts), sourdough, quail eggs mixed into a batter and then fried. Then I take that and wrap it around a banana with kefir soaked grains on it.
french toast with beef breakfast patty erryday 🚀. my bloodwork came back pretty good after couple months of starting this regimen, so i consider it healthy 😂. i get my bread and beef patties from the local farmers market though.
When time is a factor, yogurt, fresh berries and some organic granola. Other times scrambled eggs from my backyard chickens and bacon. Side of sourdough or whole wheat toast.
I don't eat breakfast, but I'm the type that as long as I've got quality ingredients, I don't get bored with most simple food.
Boil a color dozen eggs at once. Pop the shells off a few, sprinkle some good salt and fresh cracked pepper on top and that's a pretty easy and nearly perfect breakfast.
sgtm 🚀
Toasting to that! 🥑
Eggs and sourdough toast
2 bananas 🍌🍌
1 raw egg
8 oz. of beet/lemon/ginger juice
Vitamin B Complex
220mg Magnesium
I wake up and make my 1 year old son oatmeal cause he's HUNGRY in the mornings!
Then I start feeling hungry and I don't know what to eat cause we rarely have breakfast foods I wanna eat 😅 I enjoyed reading these comments.
Back in Sweden while I was growing up, I'd have a piece of bread with butter and cheese. Or multiple of them. I'd love one of those right now. 🤤
Dont tell me you've never heard of migas! Its a mexican peasant food, very simple. Basically eggs with cut up corn tortillas, scramble them all together and cook. Lots of variations, some folks add cheese or hot sauce, or any veggies or meat you like.
id eat that every morning 🤌
Egg, bacon, tortilla, and hot sauce. Every morning. Scrambled for Jr and hubs, fried over med for me. Occasionally egg, bacon, avocado on a croissant.
I try to do a big batch of bacon in the oven so it's one less step in the mornings.
Total BS.
John Wayne coffee. Steak. Eggs. 2NaCl:1KCl moshio salt.
You asked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sometimes poptarts, sometimes falafel sandwich. Sometimes french toast sticks & tot coins from Burger King. Sometimes 20 other things. I just eat food when I want it. There is no appropriate or inappropriate time to eat a certain kind of food.
Fasting, eggs, or a proper English fry (generally no toast) with highest quality ingredients (real butter, real salt, local farmed organic meat and eggs etc, back to basics/no food industry monkey business). Add some homemade sauerkraut and some avocado if you want to feel premium (the microbiome is a foundational pillar of your immune system). Basically; fast until lunch on days where you want pin-point focus, eggs on days where you need it, and eat like a king on days for rest and celebration with those you care about.
#TIL - Migas are a comforting dish made by scrambling eggs with crispy fried corn tortilla strips. The word migas means "crumbs" or "scraps" in Spanish, reflecting the dish's history as a resourceful way to use up stale, leftover ingredients. #foodstr
