Shit is about to get hot.
You, Puzzles, and the pups need to get out.
Play it safe. The marines are being sent in.
LA is about to become a battlefield.
Pack up and leave Cali for a little while.
Sincerely worried about you two.

LA is enormous. Itβs very easy to avoid almost anything happening there if you stay out of downtown.
Yes, but martial law is a very real thing. If the Marines are coming to support the national guard. You better believe this is a very real high probability.
Now the Mexican president is supposedly supporting the protestors / insurrections. There is a lot more going on here behind the scenes than simple protests.
LA is no longer safe.
This is ground zero for a hot conflict that won't end with the protestors. This is grounds for the insurrection act to be enabled. It wont be isolated to downtown. This will spread into the surrounding neighborhoods and other areas of the city quickly.
This is one of those use sound logic and reasoning moments. If the military is being sent into your city to put down insurrections pretending to be protestors. Do you really want to risk your life on a gamble that you are far enough away from the epicenter of the conflict?
No matter what life is going to get very complicated and dangerous really quickly.
If you know the category 5 hurricane coming. Someone warns you to get out before it is too late. Do you want to stay and ride out the storm, or do you leave the state and go to a place far far away from any danger?
Dont fuck around. Dont find out.
If you are in LA get the fuck out for awhile while you still can. Dont come back until it is safer again and this conflict is all over.
I agree that the administration is causing a dangerous, potentially deadly situation for protestors. There are agitators in the crowd of otherwise peaceful citizens standing up for human rights. They want to force this to appear to be a major conflict for the cameras as a premise to justify a military occupation on American soil. This psyop been their goal from the start. None of this happened until the gestapo raids started. It all makes sense if you use your brain. That said, itβs a big decision to abandon your home, even temporarily. I would not presume to know better than the people who are living there what the best course of action might be.
When you do not have all the factors behind the motivations. You have to look at the facts.
Is this situation normal?
Is this situation dangerous?
Does this have the potential to become life threatening?
Does this have the potential to become a warzone?
Do you want to risk living in a warzone?
If you can answer yes to all of the above. Then it is time to leave. This is not an easy decision, but it is the right one.
At worst this is an over reaction that leads to an impromptu out of state vacation.
At best this is the action that saves your life, your spouses life, and your pets life.
Choose wisely...

I donβt know where you live, nor do I know where in the entire 500+ square mile are of Los Angeles nostr:npub1ymt2j3n8tesrlr0yhaheem6yyqmmwrr7actslurw6annls6vnrcslapxnz and nostr:npub12r0yjt8723ey2r035qtklhmdj90f0j6an7xnan8005jl7z5gw80qat9qrx live, but I canβt confidently tell someone to leave their home based on what may or may not happen somewhere where I am not. Even during the days and weeks after 9/11, which I lived through in New York, I barely saw any of the area where the attacks happened. It was surprisingly easy to avoid going near it and I never once considered leaving. I understand this is a different situation, but I have been to Los Angeles many times and itβs full of suburban neighborhoods, wide expanses, hilly topography, and freeways that divide the city into sections that are basically unreachable from each other on foot. Unless you live in a part of the city where the actions are taking place, chances are you will not be personally affected by it.
This is a wildly different situation than 9/11. A controlled demolition versus a potential warzone? Not even in the same ballpark.
They are going to do whatever they are going to do. I am just telling anyone I know in LA what I believe is the right decision that could save their lives. In the end it is up to them.
This is a moral and ethical obligation for me to do my best to convince people to leave LA until this blows over. That way no matter what happens. I did my best to save lives.
It takes an hour to drive 15 miles from Santa Monica to West Hollywood on a good day. Unless youβre aware of the scale of distance and congestion in that city, you might underestimate how impossible it would be for a military force to sustain an occupation, and your concern, even if justifiable, might be overblown. Iβm more worried about what happens to the whole country after four years of this bullshit.
I think we are on two different pages here.
I am viewing this as a dangerous storm that will probably blow over, but not before the potential for serious harm for an extended period of time. Really depends on how this all plays out and if any other parties get involved in the conflict.
I sincerely hope I am overblowing this. Would love to be wrong, but I couldnt live with myself if I was right and didn't do whatever I could to save people. Nothing more and nothing less.
My best guess is that any operation will be poorly planned and executed, since the people in charge are incompetent morons, and they will ultimately be forced to declare a premature βvictoryβ and call it off after a week.
Dude. I just saw the news. It does look way crazier. Iβm truly far enough away that it doesnβt impact me at all. If even an inch of it comes near us, weβre out. Also, weβre armed ππ«
