I don’t know where you live, nor do I know where in the entire 500+ square mile are of Los Angeles nostr:npub1ymt2j3n8tesrlr0yhaheem6yyqmmwrr7actslurw6annls6vnrcslapxnz and nostr:npub12r0yjt8723ey2r035qtklhmdj90f0j6an7xnan8005jl7z5gw80qat9qrx live, but I can’t confidently tell someone to leave their home based on what may or may not happen somewhere where I am not. Even during the days and weeks after 9/11, which I lived through in New York, I barely saw any of the area where the attacks happened. It was surprisingly easy to avoid going near it and I never once considered leaving. I understand this is a different situation, but I have been to Los Angeles many times and it’s full of suburban neighborhoods, wide expanses, hilly topography, and freeways that divide the city into sections that are basically unreachable from each other on foot. Unless you live in a part of the city where the actions are taking place, chances are you will not be personally affected by it.

This is a wildly different situation than 9/11. A controlled demolition versus a potential warzone? Not even in the same ballpark. They are going to do whatever they are going to do. I am just telling anyone I know in LA what I believe is the right decision that could save their lives. In the end it is up to them. This is a moral and ethical obligation for me to do my best to convince people to leave LA until this blows over. That way no matter what happens. I did my best to save lives.
