Do any of these extensions work on mobile? How do I access this through my phone?
No, not without a specific browser like Firefox mobile. You can use the Zap.stream mobile app for Android. You can also use Primal or Amethyst which both show live streams too.

If I'm on mobile I use both Amethyst and Primal to interact with live streams.
I had to stop using amethyst because it was hiding people from me (stupid wot shadowban system)and the following feed is full of spam bots that I don't even follow. (Not sure how to fix this except for muting each individual bot)
Streaming on nostr is still extremely difficult.
None of the mobile apps work and the desktop programs mostly don't work either.
Hence you only see such a tiny number of streams.

Going live is pretty easy on mobile. You just tap a couple buttons on the zap stream mobile app or on the shosho app, it's even easier. Desktop requires something like OBS and is harder, but no harder than Twitch or YouTube.
I haven't seen a spam bot in probably two years. Amethyst is amazing for keeping my feed clean. Perhaps it's Amethyst and my relays both? I'd check your relays and cut down on the large open ones and stay out of Global.
I only see spam bots on amethyst.
Because I don't follow those bots and amethyst adds them to the following feed.
Primal and yakihonne are not adding anything to my following feed that I don't follow.
If it was my relays then I'm pretty sure I'd see those same bots on primal and yakihonne.
Amethyst is the only one that adds shit to my following feed that I don't follow.
I don't seem to have a problem with bots but a bit I guess.
I just keep notifications to global to see who replied to me, and keep my feed and conversation tab to my follows.
The only time I see bots on primal or yakihonne are reply bots.
Or the news article sharing bots on the global feed with yakihonne.
But only on the global feed.
Amethyst just seems to put all those bots I normally only see on global feed into my following for no reason.
Hey @Derek Ross Will you please take a look at my experience with the @npub1eaz6...rcgz app and tell me what is different than your experience? I just downloaded it again. I'd tried it some months ago, had the same experience and deleted it since I couldn't figure it out. What am I not seeing?
