Looks slick ππ
Canβt wait to use it ππ€ Keep up the good work

Looks epic! π What tech stack is it based on?
rust + egui + nostrdb
Looking clean too. Excited for when it releases. Great work ππ
You feeling OK?
Been looking forward to this for a while. Love the IOS app and I know a desktop app will be amazing as well.
Was excited about command line then it launched a gui.
Thanks for sharing!
Cool π

Do you plan to port this over to iOS in future, or develop in parallel with the existing app?
I will try to get it running on ipad and ios for sure, but this is pretty low priority compared to android
Is that demo in real time?
yeah, what do you mean?
Very cool, the loading speed is super impressive. I donβt think Iβve seen any client load a timeline that fast.
The screen is not 1.5x or 2x speed right?
no, just 1x speed
I had to build a database from scratch in C to make it that fast, it took about a year to get to this point
I noticed the FPS.. Does it really use a GPU? If so, fucking wow. What does it use it for?
it uses it for rendering the fuckin pixels my dude
Wow that's some fast software you made there
thanks :D
Incredible speed!

I thought maybe some GPu processing of the data like a LLM
This is so awesome ππ½
So itβs not a replacement for the current Damus app in the future? I thought if it was possible, youβd want to only develop on one codebase (granted I understand this would take a while to get feature parity with the current iOS app)? Phones would just run one column and tablets/PCs would run multiple
Probably wonβt replace damus ios, since the native integration is too good. Weβll see though!
I am upgrading ios to have notedeck speed though
Very cool #firstnotebtw
Welcome!
Nice, looking forward to the update β€οΈ
Thanks!
Great work!!
Very nice!
This.... Is awesome ππ
Iβll show you my note deck if you show me yours π
Why? Postgres is written in c already?
i would love if you could say have a column that is just a nip42 auth relay you run or are part of, and when you interact with that column (reply, boost, react, or post a note) it just writes to that nip 42 relay. then if i had a more public or global feed i could write to more public relays. i think that would really unleash a superpower of nostr ; having several layers of community, some more local or private or some more public, that you can interact with dynamically π€
looks awesome, btw!
Thank you !
Wow!!! you knocked my socks off.
Multi-npub notifications π
This looks really, really cool! Can't wait.
this is fantastic!
This a great watch! Please take a moment to see what is being built in real time!!
I love nerds.
