Haha no it is not, I grew up in a cult and let me tell you "none of us new it was a cult" until we got out if course. The scriptures we used were modified versions of the bible (which has many versions itself). We thought we were the good guys and that always creates US vs THEM dynamics. If you think is easy you might not be questioning your situation hard enough. But good luck to you either way 😀

I wonder how many read this and decided the advice is to altogether stop caring about what is happening in the world? Is that the intended advice? If so, it will be the wrong advice in most cases. The right path will strike a balance between doomscrolling and burying your head in the sand. And that balance will be different for everyone.
