We interrupt these tidings of joy, in light of recent cheerleading for Threads’ purported embrace of interoperability, to remind you that Threads is a hyper-efficient piece spyware masquerading as social media.
Meta and everything they produce are incompatible with freedom. Full stop.

That is grotesque.
And people don’t bat an eye 😲
But before that happy Xmas
Happy Christmas, freedom-enjoyer! 🫂
Threads is a shitcoin. We must not celebrate workarounds that allow us to interact. It's a cool technological feat, that's it.
people were actually cheerleading for threads? yeah, no. Shawn knows what's up. Threads is spyware...from a dominant ad company. period.

Meta delenda est.
Sadly total corporate surveillance has been normalized. Many zoomers acknowledge they don't even care about privacy.

Fuck Meta
Never ever accept anything from META. Full stop.
He's making a list
and checking it twice
I won’t use it no matter how many people try to convince me to.
Ein weiterer Aspekt kommt hinzu: Ich habe spaßeshalber nach mehreren Wochen mal wieder bei Instagram reingeschaut und festgestellt: Ich habe nichts verpasst. 🙄
But that doesn't mean an insta-block from me. I consider everything I post at public, so interacting with them isn't my concern.
And that way I can gospel them about the benefits of joining the proper/original Fediverse or Nostr! ✌️😎

Instagram is the only “normie” social media app I still use… and Meta is pushing threads HARD with showing threads posts in my insta timeline, sharing to threads as the first option instead of staying inside of instagram etc…
Funny that, I stopped using any contact list 15+ years ago, never touched this of course!
Might lure our dog into testing this shit of course, looks interesting…
And this is why I use Nostr
Elon really blew open the social media landscape right open
holy shit 😨 that’s insane!
Oh yea, I remember them now. 'Threads' used to be the dumbest name in 'social media'...
honestly I thought 'threads' was like pretty bad, and not actually functional but I guess it might have upgraded. I obviously have not tried it just heard from a third party I think it was 'mental outlaw'
