The hard part so far has been surviving the 5-10 year period of being aware, but not yet rich Where you don’t have the validation that comes with wealth Family and friends look at you like a crazed conspiracy theorist who’s leading his family down the wrong path But you have to believe in yourself every fucking day even when you’re still poor The lingering self-doubt drives you to work harder and eventually that hard work will lead to a better life

I had a well known local businessman congratulate me last week on my "bitcoin investment" and that he "watches CNBC" and knows "how it's gone up". I told him things are just getting started. He said he has a different opinion and won't be buying any 😬

After a successful 30+ year career, I’m still a little surprised when a plan works well- even when everyone agreed it was a good idea at the beginning. Bitcoin takes it to a whole other level. Nobody believes you at first, so the “surprise” when it keeps working is that much sweeter.
I have like 7 month or more in this corner. Thank you man you just get me free I love #nostr

Bitcoin does not have the prerogative of making you rich. But that of making you free. The family won't understand if you don't explain it to them calmly and without the need to imprint your ideas in their heads. 🤷‍♂️ Bitcoin is freedom and will serve our children much more in the future than us.
I’m 4 years into this and feel it in my bones, but my conviction is stronger than ever. I went all in with my whole life savings near the top of the 2021 high and bought the dips all the way down. One of the hardest things I’ve ever done, and even if it goes to $0 tomorrow it’d still be worth it because it helped me develop balls of steel. Stay humble. Stack sats. They’ll think you were just lucky when you have the wealth. And they’ll still think your the one who’s crazed.

A certain generation of bitcoiners (cough cough) has been hanging out in this zone for a long, long time now (relative to those who came before). We’re doing ok for ourselves, but we haven’t really experienced that point of liftoff where the success of your path becomes undeniable to those around you. On the other hand, perhaps this has allowed us time to grow the wisdom to free ourselves from trying to prove anything once the moment arrives.
