๐Ÿš€ Zapstore for Android 1.0.0 now available! This is a massive release consolidating almost a year of hard work: - Major UX refresh across all screens - Revamped app updates, with background downloading and checks, progress tracking - App Stacks and bookmarks editable from the app - Relay management for app catalogs - Security and performance improvements, and much more We also built and migrated to an all-new relay and Blossom server backed by a CDN with assets distributed in 3 regions for faster and more reliable downloads. In addition to that, our new publishing tool zsp v0.3.2 was also released today! And last but definitely not least... an amazing new webapp where we hint at what the future looks like (can't wait for Studio!). It's the edge to edge thing good did for Android 15 or 16 I think using the navigation bar widget instead of the bottom app bar widget fixes this without having to change much

Wow, Amazing update guys! App updates work flawlessly. Correctly detects apps installed via aurora store, provides friendly UX to uninstall/reinstall via Zapstore, all while remaining in app and continuing updating other apps. Very smooth UX. Bravo!

Congratulations to all of you that's worked so hard to make this a reality! If this isn't already a feature I'd love to mark apps as 'Not Managed' so apps installed from other sources that I don't want to be managed by Zapstore are not shown on pages like the update screen or more importantly for me the update all function.

Thanks for the hardwork, trying it now! Are there going to be nostr based app lists, so we can sign in with our key and download the same apps we use already on a new phone?

Amazing work ! Congrats on the release. I ditched the Alpha version and move back to stable. However I see many app updates are for pre-versions (beta, RC) anyway to ignore pre-release (globally or per app) ?

Two solutions to this are coming, if all goes right :Check: 1 ๏ฝœ Different (community) app catalogs: Allowing you to select which ones you want to see apps from. With the main Zapstore one probably :110percent: focused on self-published, open-source, non-beta apps. Another default catalog for alpha/beta app testing is also gonna be great imo. Another one for mirroring Playstore abundance (with the trust compriomises that come with getting apps from the indexer clarified of course). Besides that, the field will be open for others to create catalogs of their own, focusing on whatever niche they need to. 2 ๏ฝœ Labels Letting users label apps with whatever they feel is useful. And then you filter by that.

Thanks for the inside. I was more referring to app directly pull from Github repo, here you get the stable and pre-release tag already so you could filter like Obtainium is doing I guess.

Yes I see it as well. Sometimes I'm testing pre-releases and it's fine but for most app I stick to stable. This should be an option on app level, to get stable only or pre-release as well.
