It's the edge to edge thing good did for Android 15 or 16
I think using the navigation bar widget instead of the bottom app bar widget fixes this without having to change much

Aha, good to know!
I'm gonna convince @npub1wf4p...dgh9 and @npub1y3yq...050h to get rid of that bottom bar all together tho in the coming weeks. Hehe.
Replacing it with top access to profile, search and updates. Gonna be cleaner and more workable with the rest imo:
