Rough start to life here on Nostr, how do you start building community here? I don’t feel as if anyone’s seeing my posts. Trying to learn about Zap,stream so I can bring the podcast live on here..

It's hard at first. I've been on here several months, and still don't have the reach I want. Stay involved, stay engaged. You have to engage with ppl, and they will engage with you. Just like anything of value, it takes work.
Can anyone help? #asknostr

Thanks mate, will do! Here for the long term just curious the best way to begin reaching people like I’ve built on X. Nostr stands for the right things unlike X and I only want to build real quality relationships/follows
Welcome aboard. Looking forward to hearing more from you
Welcome!
Converse with others, and be yourself
Start replying to content you’re interested in, quote repost, use hashtags and follow as many folks as you can. Welcome!
I hear you soap miner, I'm very interested in your soap, im just financially restricted most the time. I'll reach out when I'm ready!
Cheers thanks man. Glad to be here
Will do! Thanks for the warm welcome. What’s your favorite part about Nostr?
Well then,... LFG! 🚀
Thanks Vanessa, will get busy doing that. What’s your favorite part/feature of being on Nostr?
If the problem continues you could try rednote. Or follow me and join me begging Primal to give back the "my tribe" feed so I can see posts from my followers
You're a piece of shit who will never be satisfied with any amount of reach or engagement because your soul is an empty pit. If you don't learn to give a fuck about another human, you will die scared
Check our #introduction #grownostr #asknostr or a hashtag related to your interests. Like the others said, interact and add value to someone's experience here and you will build a community of people wanting to return value to you. Maybe it isn't necessarily about the size of the community but the quality of the community.
What do you use to broadcast your podcast currently? If you can set a custom rtmp you can get set up on zap.stream pretty quick.
What’s the alpha on rednote?
The ethos
I'm not necessarily complaining about sales, although I would always like more. I'm just telling him that it is going to take work to build a following, and to also get to where he wants to be.
I'm actually doing pretty good, but nowhere near where I want to be yet. But, I know I'll get there. The ppl on Nostr are fantastic ppl, and will carry me there. 🫡💪🚀🫂
My account there is growing approximately 100x faster than on nostr
but I will also get banned for mentioning nostr 100x faster than I would get banned from nostr for mentioning rednote
Just keep interacting as much as possible. Real interaction, not 'social media' posts. It's about building a community, rather than shouting into the void. Takes proof of work. Welcome and PV! 🤙
Glad you're doing well!
Thank you 🙏 And no worries. When you're ready to purchase soap, I'll be here. Not going anywhere. 💪
Will do! All about proof of work, that is why I’m here. Not for a follower count but to provide value
1. Search hashtags for things you're interested in.
2. Follow people that use those hashtags
3. Look at the people they are following, and add any that seem to have the same interests as the topic from Step 1.
4. Create notes, hashtag them (poignently).
Comment on other's notes, especially if you have value to add.
Emote. Zap. Boost/Quote.

What I like best about Nostr is a chronological feed that I can shape, and that we're all here by our own choice; not because someone is letting us be here.
Nicely put Troy. Cheers
I second that.
I’ve just joined myself and it’s a minefield at the moment 😁
Having issues getting signed up with zap and fountain, not very intuitive tech at all yet.. would love a hand. Currently upload to Spotify but want to change over to zap
Definitely the people. I’ve met some of my best friends here and it’s amazing
