UPDATE (Aug. 8, 2026) Our primary Lightning node, Olympus by ZEUS, is back online. Users whose channels were not closed during the security incident can now resume sending and receiving payments through the node. For customers whose LSP channels were closed, replacement channels will be provided next week. We’ve received a ton of support emails over the past few days and greatly appreciate your patience as we work through them. Our LSP channel services are also scheduled to return shortly. If you operate a large Lightning node and can open an inbound channel to help us bootstrap Olympus, please reach out. It would be massively appreciated. Thank you. image

I really appreciate that Evan took a second to reply to my support email even though you guys are crazy busy!
Lightning node back online, efficiency restored, like a well functioning body on a meat based diet.
@npub1xnf0...lpr5 the part worth spelling out for the affected users is what a closed lsp channel actually left them holding. a force close puts their balance on chain on a timelock, so the thing to check is that the sweep confirmed to a wallet they control rather than waiting on the replacement channel. good to see olympus back.
We've changed IPs for the node. Connecting to peer 031b301307574bbe9b9ac7b79cbe1700e31e544513eae0b5d7497483083f99e581@45.79.207.158:9735 should force it back online
