Ignorant and thinking about setting up a Start9 server. Anyone care to share their experience?

Running a node is worth it. Havent used start9 but they seem to have quite a robust choice of different things for your node. Grab a cheap older laptop and a decent external hardrive. 1TB should, should br good for at least another 5 years or so
Maybe I dont understand what advantage Start9 offers over just running the apps you want on an Ubuntu-flashed laptop.

I'm ignorant too, but I think some advantages may be: hardened OS with minimized attack surface, prepackaged and vetted apps from their official "store"
