Zaps were previously only on the profile page, almost no-one would zap then. This is pretty bad for the entire zapconomy. Expect the number of zaps to go way down across the entire network. I’m not quitting though. I will continue to help build out this vision even if I can’t on Damus iOS.

Zaps must go on ⚡️ Thank you for all of the effort you and fellow devs have put into this beautiful client 💜
Zap actually unleashes semantic constraints, transcending the boundaries of time and space, and generates currency circulation worldwide. I believe this has a positive impact on the economy. In the circulation of Bitcoin, there is no central authority. It is literally a free economic circulation. While Apple's restrictions are somewhat understandable, they are also afraid of losing everything regarding their in-app payments. Apple may not find a solution right now, but they need to find a way to preserve their interests within the new model in order to maintain their position as an innovative company. If they ask others for that, Apple will eventually fall into the depths of history, just like Sony or Nokia did. I don't think Apple will completely ban research on Bitcoin payments, especially now. I believe they will study it more than ever. I don't think they will fail to understand the value of Bitcoin. Ultimately, the direction of humanity has been set, and we cannot stop Zap. Thank you always for your efforts toward a new world.

I still remember that at the early stage of Damus we used to post the Invoice of Sat amount and someone would instantly fill that invoice. Such an incredible history that Zap has evolved from.
What if you found a way to make a pop up of your profile appear on the content itself, and have the zap icon on the pop-up? Ie reduce the friction as much as possible from a user seeing content to user using zapping the creator because of the content?
As in the pop up can take up 1/8 of the screen or less and is akin to a windows outlook email profile when you click someone’s photo icon on an email client or gmail site
I’ve considered switching to Android over this. Just out of principle.
May be some kind of plugin? Or zapping via API of some service or eg a Firefox plugin? You'd have a neutral version in the Appstore, and users could enhance it somehow. Could this work?
