I'm pretty damn bearish on X these days.
Pretty sure it will either die out completely or become mainly a centralised "everything" app nightmare for governments and cantillionaires to surveil.

This response is accurate though & I really like Nostr & want to see it succeed but as long as Nostr is just used by bitcoiners it won't have a long term future. Social media for bitcoiners is fine, it'll just have a short shelf life.

@Seth For Privacy I don’t think this is a fair characterization of what’s being built here. Most of the apps running on the Nostr protocol are less than a year old and have barely even gotten off the ground. Bitcoin took multiple years before people outside some very limited circles began to take notice. This is a FOSS protocol that has a passionate developer community, not to mention a user base that has no desire to go back to corporate social media. Give it time before trashing it, please.
Some will choose the path of denial, anger, bargaining, and depression before acceptance.

No. Nostr is a WIP , a simple protocol, not much different to email with lots of flaws. Useful. Lots of potential. However Bitcoin was a revolutionary masterpeice from the day it was released to the public.
