I love it!
The wrench attack is an attempt to get them to transfer that $50 to a wallet with some serious money in it, so that they dox their main wallet.
You could just tell people not to
send from their Nostr on chain wallets to their cold storage. Problem solved.
If they send it to a hot wallet, then that wallet is potentially tainted. If they send it to Lightning, then why not just send it to Lightning, to begin with?
Also, just the mentality:
1. Build a major feature that is a ticking time bomb.
2. Tell people to not use it in a normal fashion because it's actually pretty horrible.
Keep it as a social hot onchain wallet, whatβs wrong with that?
