The red one. They both look good, but I think the red one is more suitable to Pokémon.

That's the dilemma I'm facing here. Do I want to completely change the vibe of the book or do I want to keep it pokemon themed. Both look great and can work, but my original intent was to keep it red and black because like you say it's more suitable.

Yeah, I mean the deep red changes it enough in my opinion and adds more depth and class to it. The brown is beautiful, but to me it doesn't fit the vibe quite as well.
