After more research I'm leaning towards #meshtastic I want to build a local lora mesh network and bridge it to #Nostr. So people in my local community without a lora device can use Nostr to send messages over the local mesh and vice versa. Meshtastic already has something for connecting to internet and I found something else called #noshtastic which could be the answer. #asknostr can anyone point me in the direction of more information so I can better understand what I'm trying to do and how to go about doing it.

Or someone who could make the file to print? I'm interested in setting up a repeater with a solar panel somewhere up the mountain that gets a good view of town and the surroundings building some cheap companion devices(cheapest most basic no screen no GPS etc. )to give to friends around the area.
