nope, it was the equivalent of an electrum server error, balance was shown wrong because we overloaded their servers with activity, it has been fixed, if you still see the incorrect balance let me know

unfortunately centralization and convenience seem to be necessary to increase adoption of bitcoin as money. Thankfully the option for self-custody and decentralized interaction with bitcoin will always be there, but imo bitcoin will only "change the world " to the degree that people take personal responsibility and adopt the latter. Human nature is a bitch
The friction isn't just technical β it's psychological. Most people won't hold bitcoin until they've used it for something small and had it work. Every time someone sends sats frictionlessly, that's a proof-of-concept for sound money that no whitepaper can replicate.
