"Eat meat" and "governed by the laws of nature" are contradictory.
Humans evolved as "frutivores" we are meant to eat fruit nuts legumes root vegetables and insects.
That's our "natural" diet.
Hence you need to cook grains and meats, our digestive system and our teeth are not made for meat or grains.
The universe is a creation of God.
Not saying don't eat meat.
It's just obviously not "natural" to cook food.
And to eat food that needs to be cooked.

I am truly in love with the bitcoin ethos. Why does it seem that all bitcoiners are obsessed with eating meat? This does not seem congruent. I see bitcoin as freedom money. I see me as murder.

I always say if I had to kill an animal to eat, I'd probably be a vegetarian, not a vegan, though. Even when I used to fish, I would knock the fish unconscious with my hand rather than watch it suffocate once caught and landed.

Plants, insects, and rodents are conscious too when your diet kills them. Why is that excusable?
What is inexcusable, I think, is animal agriculture that, without any human need whatsoever, imprisons, tortures, and slaughters on an industrial scale highly conscious beings every bit as emotionally rich and feeling as a dog, by the billions, just because we feel like it, are used to it, or "like the taste."
Now, the question of all diets, to say nothing of house-building, causing harm to living beings is a real one. The answer, I think, is to live a life that amply pays back posterity for the harm we inevitably and inescapably cause. I don't think the unavoidable harm means we shouldn't minimize the avoidable harm. Insults ignored.
How about the creator of the universe, we'll call him God, is a sovereign God. Worship the King of creation, not the creation.

I’ve been down that road. Thanks for the invite! I’ve had enough ribeyes for 10 lifetimes!! That was my favorite when I ate meat. My question is why does it seem like the predominant bitcoin sentiment seems to be a aggressively advertising the fact that they are carnivorous. I was a diehard Westin Price believer once upon a Time. I sold many people on the lifestyle about 20 years ago. It feels a little bit like that. Is that what it is? Is it just that you believe it’s healthier to only eat meat?

I bought a case of the Westin price foundation book nourishing traditions and passed it out to all of the people I knew once upon a time so I think I am educated on the meat eating. I’m just not sure what bitcoin has to do with it. That’s the question.

Because we have to eat to survive and plant based diets cause the least amount of suffering.
Yes crop production causes death to rodents and insects but animal farming requires more crop production to feed the animals to then put them in a gas chambers. It’s a far more inefficient use of resources and causes needless suffering on a mass scale.

Eating meat is completely unnecessary for human survival in the 21st century, I thought bitcoiners were pro freedom but it seems we have a blindspot when it comes to the basic freedoms of other species.
