Do any clients have “on this day” memories for notes from a year ago? This would be a good feature.

I actually have it on my site 😂

Wow. Nicely done 👏
This!
I've seen people share their Nostr anniversary like "2 years on nostr today" type stuff.
I am wondering how these people keep track if it's something they're manually looking up or if they're being notified.
The last time I checked my account is over 400 days old.

There's a DVM for that.
I wouldn’t even know where to begin to look for a spec for this? Plus, I already built it out in Zap Cooking.
My notes go back to September 2025, so I get about 9 to 10 months of note retention through the relays.
They should be there on relays before that, as long as you write to more than one relay
you can search for it
Why do that when I can just build things?

(a good client will render this so you can click it) 🤝
well, found two notes, sometimes reports 500 Internal Error
It's called nip90, if has many kinds, fiatjaf hates it and the nip cabal never allowed upgrades, but content feeds are defined here:

Appreciate the feedback. I will look into this.
What's interesting is that when I check my posts in my profile, they only go back about 10 months. If I click on hash tags that I create in some of those posts, I can find posts that go back almost two years.
Now, if look for those hash tags in the search function, I frequently get no return. I think this is a limitation in the client. Functionally there is a difference between tapping a hash tag and searching a hash tag. This is likely a dev issue in my client.
