Honestly, if you are a programmer and you like Nostr, what is preventing you from trying out https://ngit.dev/ in your next project?

Is it 100% CLI?
What should I search for?

Amethyst is there
I should
Wait, you’ve abandoned go-nostr, and now we should follow you on ngit?

GitWorkshop.dev
Decentralized github alternative over Nostr
I love this. Thanks
Alexandria, as well.
We actually have three repo announcements.
"Exciting times ahead! Looking forward to seeing what’s in store for all three announcements. Always love a good surprise! 🎉"
Maybe provide more functional examples of using it. Seems like there is 2 billion test repos out there that people have created.
Are there any serious projects actually being hosted on gitworkshop.dev.
I put a project out there 2 months or so ago and can't find it now. Searching for stuff on gitworkshop.dev is a nightmare.
on my todo list
Somewhat, yes. But this is like a v2 of go-nostr with too many (but small) breaking changes it wasn't worth keeping the same name.
Please make some way forward official when you can Fiatjat. Even if it means "just contribute to old reps for now". Go-nostr "v1" at least has recent contributions, but I have breaking changes of my own TK Khatru, eventstore, etc. 🤣
Is this a decentralised github? Or something else?
sheer bloodymindedness
my laziness will always be my greatest enemy
OK, I follow your path.
I am in perpetual loading state, and I cannot use the web ui @DanConwayDev

Does ngit work exactly like git?
Would other software know how to deal with it if I open it in Xcode for example?
Yes ngit is git over nostr. At least that is my understanding of the vision.
> xcode
No idea
momentum, which i am aware is a bad answer
👀 at ngit
Waiting on network effect
If I remember correctly, the repos are still on Github no?
Because my fiat job is draining my energy
GitWorkshop sadly has no possibility to directly edit code. So it's not a full alternative yet.
Ok, on first sight this looks very much like I envision the solution to @jack's github replacement bounty.
Make git projects discoverable outside of the github silo.
Let users create issues agnostic to the git server.
Let people request merges across different git hosters. GitLab to GitHub or self hosted gitea...
Sorry @Alex Gleason for opening an issue ;)
Sorry. Just testing ...
