Gave up cuz it’s fucking useless cuz I don’t pay dead bird app to get traction…
The WISP effect of more building on the protocol like wisp and keeping it normie intro friction free + stickers with QR codes and other guerrilla tactics is the play.
Xitter is too hard on my head.
I also prefer to live in the nostr bubble.
Lots of very smart ppl on twitter, but too many well respected morons.
Twitter is probably the worst place for growing nostr.
We've already got a decent chunk of twitter users, you gotta remember that 75% of accounts on twitter are bots and 95% of comments on twitter come from those bots.
Anyone of value from twitter is most likely already here even if they're more active on twitter.

If Nostr can't succeed without marketing, Nostr should fail.
I joined nostr because someone told me in real life.
I've told a few others but nobody seems interested, they all want to wait until everyone they follow on Instagram is already here and active.
Instagram would probably be more successful, but it's not the consumers, it's the creators you gotta target.
They bring their followers.
All the legacy social media platforms trying to make people pay money for reach should help nostr grow long term.

The plan was always to make people pay. They knew that you onboard everyone and then start charging. That's what they needed those gigantic war chests for.
