What an incredible experience at @npub1t5u3...j4c2 with @MK Fain @lemon and @Jason Omu winning the “innovation” prize for our contribution to Bitchat. Over the past few days, we built Breakout alongside an amazing team a solution designed to help people communicate and document events even when governments shut down the internet or electricity. The idea is simple: when traditional communication channels fail, people should still be able to stay connected, share information, and preserve evidence. A few days ago, two brothers of life regained their freedom after enduring unjust imprisonment in Venezuela, simply for speaking up and denouncing the reality they were living under. For defending democracy. For telling the truth in the face of a narco-dictatorship. Today, I was able to speak with them on a video call. A deeply emotional moment, one that reminds you why we keep going. Long live a free Venezuela. 🇻🇪
