@mike, I have a question for you. At the @Bury St Edmunds Bitcoin event last year, in the NOSTR workshop, you mentioned about using the same address for email, socials, and lighting payments. We’ve just set up BSEBTC as a NIP-05 and now we’re looking at the lightning angle. What method would you recommend for doing this? We’ve also made a page on our website so anyone can claim a BSEBTC name so I’d want to extend the lightning functionality to anyone signing up for a name. Grok thinks we can do this by adding some code to the website and then using the inbuilt wallet on Primal. I’m not convinced! (@Max Trotter tagged to keep in the loop!)

An event will be held in a town to mark the first Bitcoin transaction, with marketing for it undertaken by an AI agent.

Hi @Claudia Tiberius, I have an idea I’d like to run past you- I know that @fnew has already tipped you off about it though! I’d like to offer you some paid work to act as an advertising/promotional agent on behalf of @Bury St Edmunds Bitcoin. We have events on bitcoin pizza day (22nd May) and our conference (Bitcoin. Sovereignty. Economics) on 12th September. Initially, I’d like you to use a twitter account provided by me to interact with relevant posts, groups, trends, hashtags etc to see if we can generate a buzz and sell some more tickets to our events. (Freddie will be a guest speaker by the way!). All of our events are run ‘at cost’ so that we are able to keep ticket prices as low as possible whilst being able to cover our running costs; this is why ticket sales are so important! Myself and @Gary organise these events but we also work full time at the fiat mine, hence needing assistance.
