I'm vibe coding a decentralised version of an existing service. It works, I've tested it. But now I'm spending more tokens on understanding, planning and mitigating the legal and insurance liabilities than I spent on coding it.

GM You know those days when you arrive home and nothing works and everything is going wrong. This is that day for us and the worst thing, our online shop due for delivery in half an hour, they have substituted Feta cheese with Paneer, which isn't even close ๐Ÿ˜‚

When my grandfather was born in the 1880's, the world population was around 1.5bn. When my father was born in the 1930's, the population was about 2bn. When I was born in the 1960's, the population was around 3.5bn. Today the population is around 8.3bn. The well respected statistician Hans Rosling famously calculated the expected population for the year 2050 and predicted it would reach about 11bn, where it would become stable as most of the current population growth is due to reductions in mortality. However, from a commercial objective, if the population doesn't continue to increase after 2050, companies can't continue their growth indefinitely and we don't get to populate other planets at scale. GM Last day in Ventnor for a week. We were heading back tomorrow, because my friend who requested to stay decided to come a day early. I only found out after a phone call to wish her happy birthday. image
