people need to get paid in Bitcoin to really understand what store of value is. Its not about zapping them a few k sats in a promo where they get it for passively participating.
The uninitiated need to have the opportunity to earn Bitcoin with their own skills and labor at a rate they're comfortable with. Can I pay 1/5/10% in Bitcoin? is the best question to ask. An amount that is acceptable for a seller to "take the hit" but unbeknownst to them, the impact will be huge.
This is what will happen. One day after you make this transaction, the seller will hear news about Bitcoin and it will become personal to them because they have Bitcoin. They will see that by saying yes to you and taking a chance on that internet funny money they have gained a new understanding of what it means to earn money that does not devalue.
Everyone has something to offer in terms of skill and labor. Whether they can help you paint a room or walk your dog or knit you socks, there's something they can do for you.
Instead of "Buy my stuff for Bitcoin," it needs to be flipped around to "what can I buy from you with Bitcoin?" That's what the 99% need.
