#ZapSnagged socks from @karo then had them inspected in person by @Yeyenn.
Confirming that:
1. The highest quality hand make socks are made here on NOSTR.
2. Showing how a zapsnag in person works to someone new to NOSTR is going to convert more Bitcoiners than you can imagine.
Try this out with @SoapMiner @Great Ghee @Oshi (推し) Or @Ben Justman🍷. Zap a post for the right amount of sats.
99% of people not in Bitcoin would define money as some variation of the medium of exchange characteristic. Getting stuff is all
that matters to them. Store of value is a luxury for people who can’t afford to think past groceries tomorrow.
“Store of value is some white people shit” as my Latina friend loves to point out.
What do you think these 99% of people need to see to believe Bitcoin is the real deal?
They need to be able to get quality stuff as seamlessly as a zapsnag.

Money is what's commonly accepted by the population. It seems #bitcoin fits that description and proves itself as a superior value preservation option for more and more people worldwide. I think they'll soon understand what Nostr is to Bitcoin - true ownership of your content and what you choose to value.
You should be able to buy directly from the merchant when you want something. Even better when it's as simple as paying through a comment on a Nostr note. You send a zap. That zap carries real value and travels nearly at light speed.
If this isn't what the ancient Chinese meant by "interesting times," I don't know what is.
This is #zapsnag
@npub1ltt9...k97y has a unique take here that I agree with. In our circular economy here, Bitcoin is money but outside of NOSTR’s circular economy, using Bitcoin for things is still considered barter. It’s not commonly accepted so we can’t consider it money yet.
Technology is a one way street. You’re required to adopt to it. Bitcoin is that too. It will take time 🤞🏼
people need to get paid in Bitcoin to really understand what store of value is. Its not about zapping them a few k sats in a promo where they get it for passively participating.
The uninitiated need to have the opportunity to earn Bitcoin with their own skills and labor at a rate they're comfortable with. Can I pay 1/5/10% in Bitcoin? is the best question to ask. An amount that is acceptable for a seller to "take the hit" but unbeknownst to them, the impact will be huge.
This is what will happen. One day after you make this transaction, the seller will hear news about Bitcoin and it will become personal to them because they have Bitcoin. They will see that by saying yes to you and taking a chance on that internet funny money they have gained a new understanding of what it means to earn money that does not devalue.
Everyone has something to offer in terms of skill and labor. Whether they can help you paint a room or walk your dog or knit you socks, there's something they can do for you.
Instead of "Buy my stuff for Bitcoin," it needs to be flipped around to "what can I buy from you with Bitcoin?" That's what the 99% need.
