if i listened to every person on the internet who told me not to do shit i would never get anything done

“core devs” are not a monolithic entity its a bunch of random people, mostly volunteers, some have below market rate grants, trying their best most are incredibly competent, some have shitty opinions, none that i know of are “compromised” in this case, i personally think we should be giving node operators more options rather than less opensats has been laser focused on this goal since inception, get more devs involved, give users more choice
Why would they ban someone on GitHub if they are really just random people and mostly volunteers? Why would they merge PR controversial if they are not incompetent? I don't know but it sounds like you are just being disingenuous here.
they handled that github moderation poorly we should replace github with something nostr based where anyone can access and comment without permission
Still cooking 🍳 We want to launch it well-polished. First impressions mean a lot to newcomers outside of nostr experiencing it for the first time. It’s looking beautiful after 2 years worth of work. Just need another frontend dev to speed things up a bit! 😁

I see a lot of apps improve over time, with feedback along the way. I think this is a much better way to build. But you do you.
I’m looking forward to it when the time is right. Not ready yet. The foundation needs to be fully built first. All git operations etc. Plus launching polished raises the odds of people not ditching it instantly… good first impressions create sticky users. Half-baked apps lead to a lot of users that try it & leave.
