Lemme guess, we eventually find that the logical conclusion to all this, the way to achieve the greatest satisfaction for the greatest number, the minimal suffering, the maximal freedom, minimal offense... is for everyone to run their own relay for their own notes, use outbox, and remain vigilant in curating their own feeds.

Why should we feel more vulnerable to the emotions that we all share than we do in ridicule? What left us comfortable with foolishness, but in fear of exposing the raw and tender nerves of hurt? Were we more able to feel than those we trusted? Could they have learned had they let anyone but themselves set the tone?
