Truly outstanding video, Joe. Such an approachable yet cohesive explanation. Many thanks for the time and thought you put into this. Just watched it with my father and was able to have a great discussion with him. I will check out your site and stay on the lookout for other educational materials you create. Amazing, thank you for letting me know, Alison. These types of discussions are precisely what I hoped to stimulate. Please share it with anyone and everyone :)
What a great video! It explains simply the thesis I believe too. Sent it to my friends and family. Even the ones who forbade me to talk about Bitcoin again 😅
Great video, and very informative flow chart, it summaries a lot of the information you pick up from listening to podcasts for years

Every engineer understands conservation of energy. We know we can’t destroy or create energy. Money is time and energy in abstracted form. If that is true, we can’t just create money (energy). If we could create energy, the natural balance of the universe would violated. Systems would become chaotic and the natural equilibria of the universe would collapse. Expansion of the universe would accelerate unpredictability and have profound catastrophic consequences. Despite this, our governments continuously create new money (energy). Printing money leads to instability. Social instability, economic instability, political instability, institutional instability, health instability. Respecting conservation of energy results in stability. The universe remains orderly and governed by laws of physics. We need a form of money resistant to the temptation to print more fake energy units. It’s the only way to return stability and order to our society. TL;DR There is no free lunch. Printing money has profound, negative consequences. The world needs hard money to return to a state of equilibrium. Buy #Bitcoin.

Fantastic video, finally a presentation that provides the most information without having to convince a friend to read The Bitcoin Standard. This is the problem that everyone feels but not everyone understands. They even have solutions: gold investment, quality food in local communities, returning to nature. Everyone is looking for solutions, but for them the answer is the same: Bitcoin
This is a such a brilliant approach to take with no-coiners. My family and friends get so burnt out by me trying to explain all the complexities of the problem and why #bitcoin fixes this but @SatmoJoe has distilled it so beautifully. A true mark of intelligence is being able to make something complex sound simple and he has nailed it here. #fixthemoney #fixtheworld View quoted note →
I shared this with my mother who is in her 80s. She replied ‘Bloody brilliant, understandable and Really , Really Scary! I shall pass it on to friends who will hopefully get it. I certainly did.’ Great work Joe! I can that see your training as a Physicist, reducing complex systems to their most elegant expression, came in handy here.
