Yesterday, I met some friends. And there was this guy, an Irish teacher, trying to explain to me that all evil in the world is because of the US. It's not Russia's fault that there's a war in Ukraine. And that the Chinese model is great to help people out of poverty, praising the belt and road initiative. Some people are losing the plot. They should learn history.

I identified a reproducible bug in Open WebUI. Thinking for once I could help, I went to GitHub and tried to submit an issue. OMFG, what a huge mess. The form is so thorough... I gave up. I understand there must be reasons why there are so many fields and checkboxes. But the hurdle is way too high for me. It's not a big bug: When you disable a model from an external provider like ppq.ai and refresh the page, the model disappears. It's not marked as disabled. It's just not there on the list, and you can't fetch the list from the endpoint. You need to reset the database and restart the container. Hopefully, someone else will report it. And it will get fixed.

On my device where it was installed before the ban, Google now claims the extension contains malware. And I can't enable it... Too much power in those hands. It's not new, but still a good reminder to de-Google. And de-Spotify... I just used this platform because it provided fresh songs I liked on a weekly basis.
