Nostr is the modern day version of the bars and back rooms in 1700’s Boston. It’s a more of a coffee shop, not a sports stadium at the moment. And that’s not a bad thing at all. My time on Nostr has taught me the experience is dependent upon me engaging with others.

Maaaan.... SO TRUE! I have the same perception... The experience in Nostr is absolutely tied to how you engage others! Simply loving it... Loving. It! =)

In real life and on old media, I am an introvert, but on Nostr I just engage with anyone and all the time. Like minded people I think.
This. I've met some great people that I never did nor likely would have on Twitter or other platforms. Part of it is we're a smaller group at the moment. But we're not dependent on an algorithm feeding us.

It’s funny because I can feel myself being nostalgic for what we have right now in this moment. Like I know for sure this platform will grow as more and more people come and we’ll look back on this time right now like wow do you remember when it was how it was back then?
It totally gives me a nostalgia back to IRC. Love that the experience you’ve have had is a metaphor to all of life.
