Other Native or Aboriginal tribes around the world may be paying close attention to this matter.

yeah, right here in Richmond BC, greater Vancouver area - ppl in uncertain territory over title on their life savings. Most likely will have to be compensated by the crown but none can buy / sell their homes now - they weren't even consulted apparently, that's the crazy part. Have not considered network state implication though.
Well the Crown is nearly bankrupt so this will take an IMF loan or American mediation (51st state 😅) to solve. Whatever the outcome I imagine some billionaires would happilh come together to buy out Vancouver for a Network State node pilot.
Also, interesting to think about what this legislation could do at an international scale to reshape the map if strategically paired with global economic reset. Property rights not looking so hot for investment for sure in some places.
Actually that’s the biggest issue with 51st state - land rights become a toss-up. The French land system went through this brutal upheaval way back with Acadians most negatively impacted.
all comes down to who has the power to be at the treaty negotiations. Crown is out. time for Aborigial brokers to sit down with the Fed (and/or tech mogels).
Legit feel sorry* (read with accent) for the people of BC cause they basically got rugged. Not going to lie though, I'm legit eyeing rural farm land
it’s the real test of government - can you protect my property rights, why else would I need you? Power lies in custody 👍
