#asknostr What do you say to someone who thinks it's a Bitcoin echo chamber? Is that still true or are they just not looking the right places to find other people to follow?

Seems pretty reasonable to me. The ActivityPub bridge helps I think. Personally, it was the robust anti-censorship measures built into the protocol that drew me in. I'd be here no matter how terrible the community was.

Quit being lazy. You are responsible for curating your feed. If that's all you're seeing, it's because of the people you've chosen to follow. If you want more than Bitcoin showing up in your feed, it's your responsibility to seek out folks that post content that you're interested in.

It's something you will see in every Nostr app. If you click on a few profiles you might find one from mostr.pub Any user like that is from the fediverse. They are able to see our posts too. We can reply to eachother. The only difference is that they can be banned from their instance, whereas Nostr users cannot so easily be banned from Nostr.

What I’d love is to be able to have separate feeds. I’d have my bitcoin feed, news feed, photo feed, etc. Is that possible in nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg or nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955? If so it is hard to find. I have separate feeds already but not sure how it gets curated. It doesn’t seem like I can edit what goes into it.
