I really don't believe this article is true not because i don't like Elon but many Governments have sued Twitter because they do not enough against hate etc...
So much for "libertarianism" In reality Musk is trapped in his own nightmare, stuck between his rear full of MAGA hats and disinformation and corporate KPI he can't produce with the kind of non-governance he is promoting while shitting on creators, brands, media and journalists. That recipe, cannot work. It's fun to ride for the nihilistic but it leads nowhere.

Who didn’t see this coming? The people falling for the latest round of the free speech grift and attempting to dunk on previous ownership don’t really know Jack (shit). My guess is that this will take 2 years to unwind. Celebrities leaving don’t matter until they pop up on better services/protocols.

i think the term autism should be reserved for real autistics.
Not really surprising. After all it seems like most things Elon does are connected to the government in some way. Tesla -> EV Grants SpaceX -> NASA contracts StarLink -> Starshield for the military Twitter -> ??? View quoted note →

Elon has been outspoken about his pro free speech views. Could this data simply imply that Twitter itself is less self-censoring following the Elon Musk takeover, which inevitably would increase the amount of requests from governments (including a higher degree of legitimate requests than before)?

Yes. There are plenty of things I don't like about Elon, but Twitter is infinitely better on many levels since he acquired it. One look at the Twitter files tells you all you really need to know.

Jack, would you have said anything different from what Elon said here? "We can’t go beyond the laws of a country,” he said in a recent interview with the BBC. “If we have a choice of either our people go to prison or we comply with the laws, we’ll comply with the laws.” There's a practical reality to running a large publicly-traded company. Not to mention, since Twitter became a much freer place than it was before, there are plenty of hit pieces written about it, so it may be important to take that into consideration. Besides all of which, there was (and probably still is) a huge contingent of twitter employees who work for or at the behest of the government anyway...

Either way, the people of 'this is fake because it's what the legacy media said' don't seek the truth

It’s no longer a publicly traded company. This isn’t a hit piece. It’s from the company’s transparency report.

I'm okay with the government doing its job. Some people don’t have the best intentions — I’m sure you know. I’d be thankful for people keeping us safe. A better approach to helping the world is to teach people values if you care about equalizing and bettering human life.

You could give your economic ideas too, which I’m sure they’d come to a resolution if you worked as a team. At least try. Sorry to dissent.

Are you mad he's going to get more government money than you did?
I was never fooled the purchase of Twitter was about freedom of speech, it was all about trying to control the narrative. Musk also has some disturbing ties to Vladimir Putin and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was behind it the whole time.
