Maaaaaany reasons, I guess. Laziness, addiction, lack of awareness, pure ignorance, no obvious consequences (yet).... Here's one of the horrors I witnessed last year 🫣

Yes. In a way... Just "lost" fits too.
I will talk about myself. It needs time, effort in various directions, money and preferences like "i will not replace my spaghetti for something healthier".
Also for some people it is more convenient or important to do exercises to stay fit than eat healthier etc.
I think what is important, is to make some basic steps at least and not abandon yourself. But the least at least, is more about psychology. Maybe it is all about psychology 🤷
Can’t speak for everyone, but I’m not trying to spend all of eternity with Bryan Johnson.

I honour your point of view 🙏🏼
I believe the key to health lies in simplicity. Everything else is marketing 😅
High time preference
It's an evolutionary trait that served us well for thousands of years, but has turned detrimental in modern times. We love eating fat and sugar because it was rare and difficult to acquire for most of human history. Now it's abundant and we have to literally fight against our biological instincts to not stuff our faces with junk food.
Likewise there used to be no point in exercising for exercising's sake because just going about the business of staying alive was a very physical task. It was to our benefit to get things done while expending the least amount of energy possible because food was scarce and requires a lot of work to acquire. Now we must fight our instinct to conserve energy in order to go out and exercise so our bodies stay physically fit.
All this technology and convenience has really fucked us over in some ways.

Although we have amazing food to choose: avocados, seeds, nuts, fruits… we just have to choose wisely and consciously…connected to our soul and heart. Not letting our emotions choose for us.
Yes sport is also very artificial…. I agree…
