There is a new conscription law. Men turning 17/18 now have to answer to letter if they voluntarily join the army.
Everybody born after 2008 will have to get checkup (as it was earlier untill they got rid of it) and potentially by then is forced to join the army.
For women it's all voluntary.
And then additionally, since this year the law mentioned in the original note is enacted. Men between 17-45 have to ask permission to leave the country for more than 3 months, for whatever reasons.
I did some research. This article always existed BUT until January it only was active in times of crisis (when declared by the parliament). Now it's just always active yolo.
