Cash app is my goto custodial choice, I like that when I spend dollars through it I have it rounding to the nearest dollar and that difference is automatically turned to sats for me.

Third party custody is not great

Zeus's built in node is quite a nice balance for sovereignty and convenience. Blixt too. Full LND only gives some marginal additional utility, but set up is quite easy these days particularly with Olympus as an LSP. You can get as in the weeds as you want or keep it simple.
