Congrats!!! How much mining power do you have please? Im planning to start solo mining too, but im not sure if I can solo mine with 10-14 Th/s, so now im in mode of hording miners at least for 100 Th/s.

Started with an old Whatsminer M30 bought on marketplace for a garage heater. Quickly realized that it was not profitable unless running for heat. Moved to hosting a few miners with Hashlabs ($.06/kwh hosting + good prices for miners) and decided to pull equity in my real estate and go all in. Now run around 4000TH and just keep rolling proceeds to buy more (adding another 600TH next week). They have been awesome to work with and have helped me scale up profitably.

I tried zapping you, but you don't have a LN address setup on your nostr profile page. You should address that as soon as possible because zaps, both sending and receiving, are fun, and a unique nostr feature.
Unless you're running your own lightning node, I suggest
@Minibits as your wallet as it supports both lightning payments and ecash (Cashu tokens). It also includes a LN address you can use to receive lightning payments (zaps), and supports NWC (Nostr Wallet Connect) so you can link your wallet directly to your nostr account to enable sending zaps in your nostr client without needing to load an external wallet app.
@Mysterious Hamster is another good option, but it's web-based as opposed to being a stand-alone app. Take a look at both and see which one you like best. Again, welcome, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance with something.
I run an old m30 for heat and 4000TH+ of hosted miners through Hashlabs. They are awesome with low hosting rates and really solid pricing for miners.
Just set it up. Just been lurking on Nostr but man if I could build a community on Nostr and leave Twitter I would in a heart beat. That place is an absolute time and soul sucker.

Agreed. Not sure how far you are down the rabbit hole but I am so deep that it is getting hard to interact with normies. It is like scales have fallen from my eyes and I can see how the fiat system is enabling the evils of this world. I got 1 friend that loves Bitcoin but is not deep (which is fine). I am not a technologist but I love game theory, economics, Christianity and human rights. Bitcoin is 💯 my jam!

Bitcoin is tough as it is advertised as “get rich” so some people will say they are Bitcoiners and really just are an investor. Bitcoiners are not just investors they are converts. They have recognized the Matrix they grew up living and chosen freedom. Now we wander without a physical community till the seeds we plant find fertile ground.

She just can’t see past the gaslighting of politics. She loves people and wants to care for everyone (including the govt handing out money). She sees taking away money/power from the govt as hurting the least of these. I have had many convos but they always end with her feeling like I am preaching and smarter than her. I try to ask questions and be open ended and curious. She doesn’t care about our investing, money, etc. She just wants enough to cover our needs and give generously. On that we both agree so it works. It challenges me to keep pushing myself to keep learning. Just got done with “Creature at Jekyll Island” and on to “The Theory of Money and Credit”.

Got her set up with a multi sig wallet. She works for a bank lol. Mostly though I'll bring it up when I can with folks but I dont push it hard. I want them to ask out of interest. If the interest isn't there it'll be like talking to a wall.
Nostr is much more than primal. You can bring your own wallet, and use it in any nostr client (see nostrapps.com for a good list)

I need to keep learning on Nostr. I will check out Nostr apps. What do you use and recommend? Should I use desktop over mobile app for best experience?
I am the developer of coracle.social, so you might give that a try. Amethyst on Android and Damus on ios are the most popular mobile apps. 0xchat is very nice for DMs and chat.

How can get started with no money? I'm in a very bad spot
I started with an old M30 for heating my garage in winter which was a great learning experience. Got the bug, ran the numbers and realized I needed cheaper power. Looked at a bunch of hosts and want with Hashlabs. They are awesome, low host rate and low asic prices. I run 20 s21s, 3 t21s and an m63s so far. I just keep rolling the profits back into more miners while hashprice is low…the price of miners is based on current hashprice. Once the hashprice pumps over $70-80 I will probably just hold the non-KYC Bitcoin. Setting up a node is next. Just like you I love talking about Bitcoin but try not to force it.
