Unpopular opinion: Throw sats in wishing wells.
Jack said that if only #bitcoin becomes a store of value, we have failed
Stack sats, use sats, repeat
Gotta stack said sats before you can use em
Agree
Stupid opinion*
And I said we already have but I don’t have people to answer to so ….
Is Jack God?
Fiat mentality.
No, he was the one who said it and he is right in my opinion

What’s the point of savings if not to eventually spend it?
Do both ☺️
Satsfying
Stack more sats than you spend.
Bitcoin standard is the way
I think there are good prospects for a sort of quantum bitcoin economy, purchases for1,000 Sats or less, and 500 Sats on average. That's the way. Even a cup of coffee is already Einsteinian, too big, doesn't follow quantum laws anymore.
Nostr is a great way to enable this quantum bitcoin economy.
Nope and I disagree with him on this.
Meh
Spend and replace (and stack some)
You can just use sats
#youcanjust
If you’ve stacked enough, sure, use them. If not, keep stacking!
How can you use sats if you never stacked them? 😬
WORD.

This opinion needs to become popular
👏👏👏 Yes, Spend them!!
If you are productive, using will result in net stacking. 🤯
If you don’t spend it, your next generation will. Savings IS for spending.
🤔
Not an either or of course ☕️
Don't eat cheese
Why is this “unpopular” and why is this framed as an either or?
🤔
I’m using sats wherever I can
Money has 3 uses, 1: Store of value, 2: Medium of exchange, 3: Unit of account.
Using Bitcoin as savings to store value over time is it's primary use, that facilitates and enables the other 2 uses. You wouldn't accept anything as a medium of exchange if it didn't hold it's value over time.
We're getting more stable over time, but the fact remains that Bitcoin's primary use currently is still store of value and it likely always will be.
But we're getting there, and stacking is absolutely using.
Why do you think bitcoin will only ever be a store of value? I see people using bitcoin for payment more and more now, especially thanks to lightning. I pay for some services in bitcoin and I see more of them every year, although still very few.
Moreover, I am a developer with a couple of products that I am starting to convert to bitcoin standard and accept payments in bitcoin. I do it because it is actually more convenient to accept and pay in bitcoin than in fiat, and secondly it allows me to accept payments globally. I can't use USD because of geo-restrictions.
And the best part: no commissions and full control over the money you earn.
So accepting payments in bitcoin for me is becoming not just something pleasant, it is becoming a necessity.
I didn't say it would ONLY be a store of value, just that it's primary use case will likely always be so. People will always store more energy in their savings than they're spending or receiving, and it's their trust in it's ability as a store of value that will enable the other uses.
Use and replace sats is the way
