I'm a farmer and i disagree.
Farming is easy, nature itself does all the hard work, it's not like back in the olden days where you'd plow the fields by hand, we got tractors and shit these days.
People who work in kitchens or construction are doing way more work than most of us to be honest
Sure farming can mean lots of different things. Livestock management is certainly not easy
I'm so thankful I don't have to deal with animals. Those guys are the real bad asses imo

If you gave a tractor, sure farming is easy, I don't and I have 4 species of animals on my farm.
Cows are great.
Goats were stressful, need good fencing for goats.
Infrastructure is the biggest issue with livestock.
Fencing, water storage.
Goats definitely seem like they'd test your patience—all that energy in one small body. How many head of livestock are you running total?
You should get geese, they mostly eat grass. They can graze between your grape vines and they won't cause damage to the roots like chickens would.
Don't get me wrong, it's a never ending list of chores and odd jobs and I meant in general, the majority of farmers are employing other people to do the specialised or difficult work.
What @Ben Justman🍷 does is a lot more than farming, I got a lot of respect for the work he does.
