⚡️🚨🇪🇺 ALERT - EU President Ursula Von Der Leyen Says Europe Must Put People’s Savings “At The Service Of Its Companies”
Von der Leyen says €10 trillion in European household savings are "lazy" because they remain in bank deposits, while a significant portion is invested outside Europe.
She says the EU has put forward proposals on securitization, bank and insurance investments, market integration and supervision, which could unlock up to €470 billion in additional investment.
European leadership has an eye on the savings of individuals.

—Soviet Russia, 1917–1918: Banks nationalized; deposits seized.
—Vietnam, 1975: Bank branches and deposits confiscated.
