All day long, there’s news about Nostr, AI, Bitcoin, Monero, new apps, new services, leaks and all sorts of doomsday scenarios.
Then I put my phone down and realise that nobody around me has the faintest idea what’s going on right now.

Yep, I get that too. Makes you wonder. Some consolation, were informed nostriches fortunately not ostriches!


Just living their lives until SHTF.
Instead of worrying. Maybe they are wiser. They accept that death is inevitable.
Still society is built by those anticipating the future.
Try to speak your mind in public. It will dort your environment. People will drop out others will come in as you do that. You can neither prepared nor build the future you want to create with people that have zero awareness, sensitivity or clue about what's going on.
Saw some friends yesterday and not one knew about the oil pipeline and pumping station in KSA getting hit or the Houthis liberating the west coast or Yemen.
I was like "hope y'all stocked up on fuel"
They thought I was talking about Iran shutting down the strait, because Trump said it was open and our media reports whatever he says as fact.
The tv only started talking about Yemen today.
But all the TV has to say about the situation is "Saudis good Muslims because oil and money, Yemenis bad Muslims because they're poor"
Good. Let them sleep. Their ignorance is the cushion that absorbs the coming shock. While they drone on about Netflix, you're building the ark. This isn't about "them knowing"; it's about "you acting." The clueless pay the highest price.
