Because that literally is the only way out of it. The alternative is savagery and civil warfare without end. While we are here, still resisting their DESIRE for civil war (because, yes, they want us to go that far so they have an excuse for their bloodlust), they have to play at least partly by the rules of civilized politics. As long as we force them to stay in that arena, we have the chance to outplay them. The "you're not voting your way out of this" thing is, simply put, a painfully obvious psyop. Don't fall for it. Get involved, press your politicians, vote in every election you possibly can and encourage others to do the same. The alternative is endless war and Bitcoin ain't gonna stop that.

Reminder: "you're not voting your way out of this" is a blatant psyop. It benefits nobody but the forces we oppose. View quoted note →
Wow! Your cup of cool-aid runneth over. Firstly, to use the words "civilized" and "politics" in the same sentence, is entirely oxymoronic. There is NOTHING civilized about politics anywhere in the world right now. If it ever was civilized, it has by now devolved into a disgustingly sinister game of oppression and murder of humanity. Secondly, the notion that you can change a system by endorsing it, just doesn't make any sense. Thirdly, what we actually do need, is for everyone to grow a brain and some cajones, and to properly rise up and savagely destroy the bastards that have for too long languished in their omnipotence. They do not deserve an ounce of our trust, and the time for pretending that they might listen to our tender pleas, it long over.
How does participating in their theatre fix anything? Voting is how we ended up here, and you're still defending it. The solution is to opt out with alterntative systems and to stop feeding the beast. But as long as you keep your money in a major bank, watch their entertainment, eat their crap, take their shots, and keep voting, you give them consent to continue governing your life. I
It's like the folks who believe gun control will stop criminals from getting firearms hahaha. Perhaps the clip below, while from a movie, will clarify how the world really works

Several things can be true in this context. 1. We are not voting our way out. The incentive structure is such that nobody can fix the system from within the system. Any politician who promises to do that is either lying or will inevitably fail. Either way, 2. Voting can slow down, speed up, or even briefly and temporarily reverse the rate at which liberty is lost. Libertarians getting involved politically can influence this process to a degree. 3. The system is made stronger by certain kinds of violent resistance such as terrorism, assassination, sabotage, etc. When the masses feel unsafe, they will permit faster erosion of liberty by their rulers in the name of feeling protected. Again, note that the masses can’t prevent erosion of liberty; they can merely influence the rate at which it erodes because 3. Violence CAN destroy the system if the violence is sufficiently widespread OR precisely targeted. This worries the elites and those who depend on the system. It’s why the mood of the masses matters to the rulers. However, mass violence offers no real promise for replacing the system with anything better. Probably the replacement would be far worse. Targeted violence could, theoretically, replace some elites… with other elites. And the incentive structure of the system would remain unchanged, but with more political violence now woven into the social fabric. 4. This why in the Freedom Tech community we choose a different approach to change. By providing the potential for peaceful opting-out of the system, we create a new and better incentive system for people to interact cooperatively. When coercion is ineffective from a physics perspective, society no longer needs to rely on laws or social norms to protect liberty. 5. Violence - or the threat of violence - is and will always be necessary to protect liberty. We are not pacifists. And when the losing Elite factions come after us in a desperate attempt to save their system, all options are ethically open to us for defense. If we make violence expensive but cooperation inexpensive, we win. I’ll say that again. Make violence expensive. Make cooperation inexpensive. That’s how we win.
Your points make more sense but then the only problem I have with how you framed some of your great points particularly around violence is that, it presupposes/implies that choosing to opt out of voting means violence has been chosen. It's these binaries that have been programmed by the state for us to follow, that said, violence while a measure of last resort, it should always be on the table

I'm firmly anti-anarchism and a constitutionalist, so yeah, I endorse the system. I don't endorse modern political behavior and exploitation of the Constitution, but I do endorse the system. Anarchism and sovereign citizen nonsense is peak delusion.

I explained it. Keeping things civilized forces them to at least partly play by the rules. That's the only way we have a shot to win. They WANT us to get violent. It's their greatest dream. It gives them legal grounds to mobilize violence against their opposition while maintaining the semblance of civilized authority to those who don't pay attention. Voting isn't the problem. The problem is the wrong people are the only ones who are actually active. Those who abstain are the ones responsible for perpetuating this mess today.
The trouble is, the rules of the game are written by the players of the game. They write rules to ensure their survival.
So you're calling for participation in Catholic rituals without understanding how the Catholic Church, the Jesuits, and the Vatican go hand-in-hand with politics?
