Israel, contrary to popular opinion, doesn't run America. The stock market does. Who controls the stock market? The Fed does. Does it mean that the Israeli gvt doesn't try to lobby the US gvt? Of course they do and with great success I might add. They are just not in charge like the Fed.

AI like any other technology that we know, will destroy some jobs and create others, therefore the narrative that "AI is going to take all the jobs" is a retarded and Malthusian inspired take that is meant to do two things: 1) Get people primed for UBI => more state owned slaves 2) Inspire to doomerism that will crush the independent entrepreneurial spirit and regulate small businesses out of existence by raising cost of starting a business => centralization of transaction volume and market power in the hands of the tech demons. 3) More taxes and less freedom. If you let the tech demons control AI, they will unleash a brave new world in some places and 1984 in others.
