Now, that you made me start to believe in magic again, can you make it so that I don’t have to confirm a zap inside the wallet, but only tap the zap button on the note? That would make me come back to Damus more often. That’s the killer feature of Primal imo

I've connected to my Alby wallet in Damus and I can do one-tap-zaps 🤷♂️ I guess your wallet needs to support NWC to make it work, isn't that correct @jb55?

NWC is NIP-47, you can get a gist of what it is by the description here https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/47.md. I'm not sure if WoS supports it, doesn't seem like it based on this list

I don't have Apple (gotta be crazy) but how does it work then? When in the app you get re-directed to a website which is then "legal"?
Nostr is freedom tech and Apple is the exact opposite. Why do people on Nostr even LIKE Apple?
I like @primal - but like I've told them a zillion times i REALLY want to be able to see WHO are the contributors to zaps of ANY message I like - currently that is not possible but most other platforms DO have that...

It's basically a custom view, executed and set up by a #nostrscript JB or Suhail made. Nothing legal or illegal here, just a sly roundabout way to get zaps on posts even though Apple doesn't like it.

yes but that misses the use case... i am just in some random thread, i see a post that has like 12k sats zapped and i want to see "who zapped what?"
that one note's notifications will not appear in my notifcations section...

This script works like a hot damn. Finally unifies everything I want to do on Nostr with the Damus app on iOS. Great work.
it appears to force open damus into a mode that allows you to set the feature back on “dynamically” as it’s just turned off by default with a config flag
cant make it work... seems all is the same as before... what do i need to look for?
Remember to restart the app after you’ve activated it. You should be able to zap posts and not just profiles.

You mean through your own node? They can’t possibly do that.
No, they told jb55 (Damus founder) that he wasn’t allowed to have the zap button on notes (but on profiles it was allowed). I guess that’s because they consider it as a payment and that they want to put their 30% Apple Pay tax on each payment.

Works on most iOS clients I guess, just not on Damus because the reviewers loves to bully JB and the Damus crew
