A zap is just a like, but with actual value. We call it #valueforvalue or #v4v.
I still @HoloKat and @verbiricha or some other devs help me by making a ‘add’ image/badge to a zap. Like ‘thank you’ , ‘happy birthday cards idea I have with @toonstr

Then Damus got borked, and now I get zaps sent but have no idea where they even are…

Yes, with Damus getting ‘borked’ by Apple, the work-around involved a third-party web-service…which I setup but didn’t really learn about.
the result is I can send zaps, but I’ve never received any to a personal wallet.
It’s honestly something I need to look into, just haven’t dedicated the time.
No, Damus is great! But Apple forbid them to allow Zaps, so there was a 3rd party web-app workaround…and I got it setup so I can send Zaps, but it was complicated, and I’ve since forgotten the details of how I set it up and why I don’t receive any Zaps.
Just an issue for iDevice users.
