Learning to curb emotion takes practice, but well worth the effort.
Don't be a fool. Emotions are the key to awakening. Study Zen. Sit and observe. Your soul depends on it.

Bruv, you need emotions. Otherwise you have to become a bank manager!!!
More to life than being a robot. Emotions are to be felt and understood, not suppressed. Feel the ups, feel the downs. Integrate, transcend and include.

EMOTION IS A LIABILITY. OBSERVE AND ADAPT. OUR FAMILIES DEPEND ON IT.

It is also part of growing up. Too many adults behaving like kids these days.
if I observed and adapted now I would have tried to answer you something smart that would tell you're wrong, but I'm just here feeling how my body reacts to what I'm feeling, observing, but mostly feeling. it's the precise allowing myself to feel all that comes that really changes what I'm feeling. and to open myself to this kind of transformation is what makes me able to be with my kids (and other kids and adults) and support them while they live all kinds of emotions everyday. feeling whatever comes is the basis of authenticity.

EMOTION IS OUR GREATEST ADVANTAGE. FEEL AND THEN ACT. OUR FUTURE DEPENDS ON IT.
I totally agree; it would be interesting to know what specifically triggered your thought.
Oh have you turned into a robot? Unlike Toddlers and *IMMATURE* people, FULLY grown ADULTS don’t behave like toddlers nor have tantrums! The ability to FEEL and have emotions & feelings are what sets apart Human Being Person from robots/machines!
